Wonderfire: warming the nation since 1973
Wonderfire is an established brand in fire manufacturing, with the first Wonderfire being produced, at their factory in Bristol, in 1973. Wonderfire developed the revolutionary Airflame engine burner, which is widely recognised as the best burner on the market, and is as popular today as it was in 1980's when it was first manufactured. The technically advanced and aesthetically appealing design, creates an ambient flame effect previously only achieved by real fires, which are both messy and labour intensive. Building on the success of the Airflame Wonderfire joined forces with Valor in 1995, when they subsequently moved to Birmingham.

In 2009 the big news on the fire front was all about an inspired new range from Wonderfire Premier. Wonderfire Premier turned up the thermostat to new highs, with exciting, distinctive and innovative fires in its all-new Premier Collection, which is exclusively available through independent fireplace specialist showrooms.
Fired by groundbreaking technology
Wonderfire Premier boasts the most advanced patented burner systems (technically known as 'heat engines') resulting in gas and electric fires that are absolutely convincing in their flame effects - as well as comfortably and reassuringly effective. Each of the engines uses different technologies to suit particular demands, depending on what's needed for the room and whether there's a chimney, flue or no flue available.
Take Airflame for example. It's a unique system that far outstrips anything on the market. Being a convector it punches out warmth quickly to every corner, can be used wherever there's a normal chimney or flue. Available in the widest range of styles, and with the most realistic flame effect of all, no wonder this is the most popular choice.
Then there's Airflame Decorative - with Bauhaus and Blenheim frets - ideal if you want to replace an existing open fire and keep the natural looks without the hassle. It's more convenient and works on radiant heat alone, so the closer you get to the fire, the hotter it becomes - exactly what you'd expect from an open fire.
Supreme 89% efficiency is achieved with the Celeste, Bauhaus, Bloomsbury and Ebony options; giving more heat from less fuel whilst providing a living flame effect that's especially pleasing on the eye.
Finally, there's the Visualise effect for Wonderfire's electric fires in the Premier Collection. This time it uses the latest in hologram science to create an unbelievably lifelike fuelbed that effectively doubles the depth that you see, to give a truly unique real fire look.
